Barrenjoey Capital is a new Australian investment firm founded in 2020 with a $500M market cap.

Challenge

Prior to our engagement, Barrenjoey had whip-smart investment analysts writing up investment research, but no good way to distribute content. They relied heavily on an email distribution model to deliver their investment research reports to clients. This was not the most ideal method, as their target clientele are pressured, time-poor investors who are unlikely to read every email that lands in their inbox.

Outcome

No Moss designed, developed and launched to market, from scratch, a digital portal enabling investment fund managers to quickly and seamlessly access investment research to help make investment decisions.

Results

No Moss met the design brief of “clean, sleek and sexy”, with the project resulting in:

  • 1400+ real users in the portal and growing
  • Thousands of reports made immediately available to users, allowing them to read-in-browser or download
  • Barrenjoey’s service offering moving from email based distribution to a centralised platform-based distribution
  • Creating one of Barrenjoey's first bespoke products which continues to be highly influential and provide design guidance for other in-house products
