My Plan Manager (MPM) is Australia's largest NDIS plan manager. Their mission is to create an inclusive Australia by empowering people with disabilities to achieve their goals. They provide their clients with complete financial control and access to a wide range of NDIS providers tailored to individual needs.

Challenge

When their fragmented web and mobile platforms began to hinder their service delivery, they engaged No Moss to unify the user experience and reduce the burden of maintaining two codebases.

Outcome

No Moss collaborated with MPM to unify their web and mobile experiences using the Ionic framework, delivering a seamless, accessible, and efficient solution.

The new app included:

  • A like-for-like web and mobile portal
  • A consistent brand and user experience across platforms
  • Mobile-first UI redesigns, including streamlined navigation and workflow enhancements

Accessibility Highlights:

  • WCAG AA compliance with features like screen reader support via TalkBack and VoiceOver
  • Simplified information display, such as converting legacy ten-column tables into streamlined three-column designs

Since launching the new app:

  • Active users increased to over 5,000
  • The app store rating improved from 2 stars to 4 stars
  • This solution not only improved the end-user experience but also significantly reduced ongoing development and maintenance time.

Results

The unified platform has:

  • Provided a consistent and accessible experience across devices
  • Reduced the burden of maintaining multiple codebases
  • Improved engagement and satisfaction among end-users

The partnership with MPM extended beyond technical delivery to include:

  • Product inception and strategy
  • UX design and accessibility planning
  • Full-stack development with a focus on sustainability and scalability

"No Moss delivered a cohesive platform that allowed us to maintain both web and mobile applications from a single repository. Their professionalism and collaborative approach made them invaluable partners in this project. Since redeploying our app, user engagement has soared, and our app ratings have improved significantly."Ben Fitzgerald, Technical Architect, My Plan Manager

No Moss continues to partner with MPM on future projects, further enhancing their platform and services.
